Hello, and welcome toBallroom Dance with Alec Zhang

We offer in-person and online classes, private lessons, group practices, and more. We specialize in the International Ballroom style of dances (which includes Waltz, Tango, Foxtrot, Quickstep, and Viennese Waltz).

In-person Classes

Five-Dance Technique (all levels)

Wednesdays 6-6:45pm

Deep Dive [one-dance] (all levels)

Wednesdays 6:45-7:30pm

Classes are taught by Alec at 30-Up Club. Partner not required. Drop-ins welcome. Knowledge of basic bronze syllabus required.

Advanced Foundations (all levels)

Wednesdays 7:30-8pm

Classes are taught by Alec at 30-Up Club. Partner not required. Drop-ins welcome. Knowledge of syllabus (bronze through gold) in Standard recommended.

Practice Sessions

• Latin Practice Wednesdays 8-8:30pm
• Standard Practice Wednesdays 8:30-10pm

Sessions are held by Alec at 30-Up Club. Partner not required. Drop-ins welcome. No experience necessary. Standard practice includes a round of competition simulation finals.

Online Classes

Zoom Group Class (all levels)

Tuesdays 7-8pm

Zoom link will be provided upon registration. Partner not required. Drop-ins welcome. Knowledge of basic bronze syllabus required. Please join theFacebook Groupfor updates.

Private Lessons

Alec & Josie are Vice-Champions of Canadian National Professional Ballroom and former USA Dance National Finalists. They teach in both Toronto and NYC. They are passionate about their craft and love to share the complexity and beauty of ballroom with others.
